So I have been running a 135G tank for a little over 4 months. Using a single Kessil AP700. Curious when you would run the sky blue color vs Deep ocean blue. I have a some what mixed reef and running the lights on a 12 hour schedule.

Currently running the darkest blue to the 4th notch up. Ramming from 10% to 50% intensity. Light mounted a little over 10 inches from the surface.

Pretty much, how much white should I run (sky blue) and what intensity would result in best growth?

What are the dimensions of your 135 and what corals are you keeping?

48x24x20

I have a few acros and lps at the moment.
Awesome to hear. For the AP700, the color you choose doesn't really matter. Kessils has what's called "kessil logic" which basically means no matter which color you choose the corals are receiving proper spectrum for optimal growth. You can leave it at deep ocean blue all the time or at ocean blue 4 all the time. Makes no difference. The reason to choose the winter colors is simply for looks. You can time it to whatever pleases the eye. I turn mine up to ocean blue 3, the fourth setting over from deep ocean blue :) check out my kessil show off thread if you already haven't for other users settings and suggestions for this light :)

In my 75g with one AP700, I run at 11” high 60% intensity and color wheel between 8 and 9o’clock. A little more white than most like but I like that color. Total on time is 12 hours with 4 hour peak. Apex PAR meeter shows 150-200 between the light clusters depending on the depth. I have 1 millipora and one smooth skin Acro growing well directly in the middle under the light.
