New Tank Setup

My new tank is on the way as my old one cracked. In the meantime, I set my live rock outside to dry out in the sun and I plan on placing the rock in the new tank. Since they have coraline algae, would I be ok just rinsing the rock and placing in the tank or should I bleach it and start over to get rid of anything that might have remained or died in the cracks/crevices?
