New tank sloppy silicone

Ordered a deep blue 80g rimless from lfs. Get it home notice how sloppy the silicone is. Long air pockets in the seals 3/4 way down. And micro bubbles in the silicone that structurally holds the tank together.

I showed the owner (old man) the issues with the tank. Told him to order another one left it up there for 2 weeks. I go in there yesterday after hearing nothing he says all the deep blue tanks look like this maybe try a different brand! His level of customer service is off the chart.

I'm about to do a test fill with this piece and see if it explodes in my living room...

The store owner is telling you the truth, every Deep Blue I've ever seen looks very similar. I have a Deep Blue 75 gallon that I use for a sump and it looks exactly like the pictures you posted.

It's not enough to compromise the structural integrity of the tank, it's aesthetic only.

My other deep blue (44xh) is perfect. That's why I didn't think twice about ordering this. It holds water, for now. There was silicone slopped everywhere and small scratch in the glass. I've seen talking monkeys do better.
