New tank (sort of)

I'm in the process of switching from a 75 gl tank with cpr overflow to a 75 gl corner flow. The tank is running for 2 weeks with caribsea special grade live sand. I transferred 30 gl of water from my other tank added 35 lbs of live rock as well. Can I do another large water transfer from my old tank and then add all my corals,live rock & fish? Thankyou in advance for all you advice.

Imo the water transfers does little, if anything. More cured LR would help a lot. I would consider doing the transfer in a few more stages focusing on getting a good amount of LR in there then finishing up by moving the fish and coral over.

Unless you're pressed to do it, I'd get more bacteria going, either with as rjukan said with lr, or with microbacter 7 or dr tims, for a few more weeks.
Test for the cycle.

Thanks for the advice. I thought with the new live rock plus all of my live rock from my other tank that it would be sufficient. With the water transfer I thought theoretically it would be as if I was just doing a tank move. But in this hobby patience is key , thanks.

Back to reefing 101.... test , test and Test and let the tests tell you it is safe to transfer, Acclimate the fish to the new tank as if the fish just came home from the pet store.
