I have a JBJ 30g rimless I need to stock. I am still in the initial planning stages. I am thinking a Cherub Angel, 1-2 Clowns, a shrimp/goby pair, possibly a clam. Anyone see any issues with this group and any suggestions of one more fish I could add to the group? I was initially thinking a 6-line wrasse, but have talked myself out of it from the numerous aggression reports. Thank you in advance for the feedback.

Both the cherub and the 6 line can be very nasty to newcomers, especially in a small tank. Put in the clowns and goby before adding either one of the other two, if you decide to add either one.

I recently started a 13G nano. The yellow watch goby and pistol shrimp are now a pair. If I had put them in first before the clowns, it would have saved me days of worrying at first just because clowns in general are semi-territorial once they are comfortable. Both goby and pistol shrimp are on the shy side and it took them a little over a week before they started showing signs of coming out of their hole. Now having said that, sometimes it's about timing on what's available and so that dictate when you introduce the new residents to their new home.
