Hello reefers, im pretty new to this hobby and everything is perfect(i think so) at the moment.
My tank is started about 2 months ago. 15g nano, with protein skimmer. I have some mixed corals you will see on the pic below. I noticed 3 days ago that my system stopped consume alkalinity i check the alkalinity twice a day and its 8.5 dKH. I test with Salifert and tropic Marin kits. Please help me to solve this problem what is the reason and what is the solution.
Here are my parameters:
Temp: 78.8F
Salinity: 1.025
PH: 8.2-8.3
KH: 8.5
NO2: 0
NO3: 20
PO4: 0
Ca: 430
Mg: 1350

its not a problem, it just shows that you are providing your corals with enough alk and that your parameters are stable. do you dose or do water changes?
I would double check the test results.

I wouldn't expect much Alk consumption at all with the coral pictured, certainly not enough to measure in less than one week.

Several things besides corals consume alkalinity. Two that may be more prevalent in a new tank are rising nitrate, and abiotic precipitation of calcium carbonate (often unseen).

Those things may be slowing down as the tank ages.
