Good evening all (or evening here at least),

At the risk of opening Pandora’s Box, I am looking for some suggestions for brand/manufacturer for a new tank.

Currently I have a cheap 65 gallons petsmart special, which is holding its own with my mixed reef tank. Problem is, I was too chicken to drill it, and the Aqua lifter which keeps the vacuum ok my overflow is dying. So, why not just buy a new tank ?

Looking to stay with a glass tank (I have two kids who would scratch acrylic to no end), and upgrade to a 100-120 gallon. Looking for recommendations and what to avoid!

Thanks!

How big are you wanting to go. I have a Waterbox aquarium and I couldn't be happier. The sump is just what I need, but if you wanted to add several additions ie. reactors I would recommend getting a custom sump.

I love my class cages custom 125

I have a nice setup on the backside of the wall, so would likely keep the sump I have for now. Subject to later upgrades, like everything.

My god that is beautiful and you are out of my league. I think you need to call a contractor to build something, but I will leave this to the other guys who know much more than me to answer.

Like folks have already said their are endless options in this tank size. I have an SCA tank and could not be happier, it comes with everything you need including stand. The skimmer is not great and after 4 years i updated the return pump but in my opinion you really cant beat the bang for the buck. Best of luck and congrats on the new tank!

I have a WATERBOX 70.2 and well I love and enjoy this tank, it's big enough without been to big, yes the 100.3 would of been great but more maintenance eg: larger water changes ect.. 40L water changes for me are easy. So many options out there just depends on what your really after.

I have the 130.4. I agree water changes can be a pain, but I only do 20g whenever the sand gets dirty so not a huge issue. I'm down to 1 wc a month
