I have a Red Sea 525XL3 month old mixed reef. Brown algae and diatom breakout in last month. Just installed a Vecton 600 UV sterilizer and water is pristine within 3 days. My tests results today are Ammonia-0, Nitrate-0, Calcium 420, Alkalinity-9 and Phosphate-0. Should I add a supplement for Nitrate and Phosphate? If so what do you recommend?

Exactly. It's very possible those numbers are due to poor tests, expired agents, or not enough resolution to pick up the correct values.

Testing with API; expires 4/2021.
Get yourself some other test kit high a higher resolution. My tank tests zero po4 and NO3 with api but tests 0.06-0.10 po4 and 1-2 NO3 with Hanna and nyos kits. If I just went with the API results it would leave me to believe I am bottomed out and need to feed more/more often but testing with proper kits you can see that's not the case and no action needs to be taken.
