Hey guys,

Just got this Red Sea 250 - 65gal tank on craigslist. Spent the first 2 months stabilizing the water, added 2 new AI puck lights, protein skimmer, vortech side pump, and some new anenomes/fish.

Whats everyone think? Should i add anything else here...think i have room for 1 more fish?

Current setup-

FISH - Powder Blue Tang / Yellow Tang / Orange tail damsel / diamond watchman goby / banggai Cardinalfish / clownfish / fire shrimp / peppermint shrimp / tiger serpent sea star / red ser[amt sea star/

Coral/Anenome- Purple long tentacle anenome / white bubble anenome / pink bubble anenomne / kenyan trees / Favia Coral Frag / orange zoa frag

Appreciate any insight.

Good work man,Welcome to R2R! You got a good rodi? I have just a of a year of experience under my belt. Wait for others to chime in on my next comment... 2 tangs in a 65 could be a problem now/down the road. Serpent stars can be dangerous aswell. Your tank might be "too new" but check out some snails and hermits. If you don't get any replies make a post in the "new to saltwater" forum

Thanks for the response. Any insight on how the serpent stars could be dangerous?

Nice score, Brooks Ross - and welcome to Reef2Reef!

Some serpents - notably the big green ones - have been known to capture smaller fish. Most serpents, including reds and tigers, are just fine though. The tangs will probably outgrow that tank - and then you'll have a choice of re-homing the tangs, or upgrading to a bigger tank. Watch for aggressive behavior, especially from the powderblue.
