Just curious at what point I should become concerned about the diatom bloom? In my first tank it lasted about 2 weeks. This tank is going on over 3 weeks and it shows no signs of slowing down. I know it's normal in a new tank and nobody can give me an exact length of time, but at what point should I start looking into possible sources of silicates? I'm using RODI. Tank has been up about 2 months and this started about 3 weeks ago.

Hi!

I wouldn't be concerned at all. It all looks and sounds completely normal. :)

Looks good to me. I like green on rocks. Go with the flow. If in 2 months your rock is red you might be wishing it was green. Or maybe you like red.
