Alright. My water cycled a few weeks ago. Once cycled and established algae growth I added a CUC of 10 Astreas, 10 hermits, and 2 peppermint shrimp. I also added a few more pounds of live rock, on which I got a few nice hitchhikers.
All has been going well. Water tests good and remaining stable. CUC has been doing its job and I decided a week ago that it was time to add some fish. The initial stock was small, 2 ocellarus clowns and a royal gramma(which my daughter named Queen Elizabeth)
All have been enjoying their new home.
Yesterday we made another teop tonour LFS and added
3 trocus snails
10 baby hermits
1 pencil urchin
1 blood fire shrimp
2 damsels
1 green BTA
After a long acclimation they were added to the tank and allowed to settle in for a few hours we then gave them a little food, and everything is eating well.
The BTA was very attached to his rock at the LFS, so that came home with us as well. As of this morning he has not stretched his tentacles much, but we will give him time to get used to his new home and lighting.
This pic is of my tank setup supervisor "Oreo".
Parameter checks will happen daily for the next week to ensure all remains in check. Hopefully when I get home tonight the BTA will be extended and happy.
We got some hitchhikers on all of our live rock which I could assistance in IDing.
Zoantthid? Paly?
Bristle worm?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!
