New tank syndrome. Is it done cycling? If so add some snails and crabs that'll help.

It's finished cycle, no CUC yet just have 3 fish and an A ribbon eel.

What's the best snail for this ?

Sounds good guys, every test showed them at zero but do not believe that as I have this stuff everywhere, will try snails and see how I go

Which test we referring too?

I have sailfert and RedSea for nitrate and nitrite.

And Hana for the others

Reef Cleaners has a great assortment of snails. I have like 300 in my 75, some are small like 1/8", some are bigger. Stay away from hermit crabs, I had them once until most of them would climb my branching monti and break off branches, now I have several frags. My monti was about 3 years old and very big, the frags are growing and getting big.

Agree. Go to reefcleaners.org and order the package for 1/2 your tank size

Hard to tell what this is. It appears to be growing on top of the coralline. It could be algae, cyanobacteria or both.

So went down today and got 6 snails for the dt and 6 for the sump, let's see how they go.

Was thinking a about taking the cheto out and giving it a real hard rinse and sucking all the dirtutus out. Should I be worried about the cheato it's starting to grow algae on it and sink it normally floats and boubles like a boiling kettle
