Ignoring location for a minute just remember one thing. Water.

Regardless of the display size the question one has to ask is if you are willing to accept the risk of a failure and the ripple effect it brings. Damage to the home or apartment and loss of marine life. Stress from both on the hobbyist.

When in doubt leave the water out.

I am sorry but I would not want my tank to be "repaired" windshield doesn't hold hundreds of gallons of water. Also most europians live in apartment buildings, so the damage is not just your place its also your neighbors, and most people don't purchase house insurance because its expensive. (I was born and raised in Europe) .

Tank replacement would be only option.

Cured silicone will refuse to bond with almost any substance, including fresh silicone.

I just finished the meeting with my lawyer ( just now on Monday ) and we speak for some time.

He explain to me what he will do ( first send a letter requesting that he take the aquarium back ) if not we will file a complaint with consumer protection and as many places/goverment institutions as we can, sue him, write a new bad review with my lawyer, and if we sue him he will have to pay all my leagal fees if a win a curt case against him.

If he accept now he will be able to avoid all of that if he just gives me MY money back.

Hope is good i will get a full return, will keep you guys updated!

I would image they wont go to court, it would be to expensive for them.
Good call on the lawyer meeting. That tank is a disaster and they wont stay in business for long if this is their work.

Ok, long story short i got back about 70% of the money taking into account lawyer fees and what not.
They came and they took it after they take it apart.

Glad you got it handled. One other option may have been for them to remove the entire pane of glass, clean and remove all silicone and just reattach it.
