hi friend

i am setiing a new 1000 ltrs sps dominate tank. and i am going to use the full Probiotic system. i have some question to ask maybe someone could help

do i use the zeomix at the cycle?
do i start with Probiotic salt or i start with reef salt?
do i go for auto doing for cal mag and alk or i go for calcium reactor?

do i use the zeomix at the cycle? Not necessary, add when the bio-load increases as a means to further reduce nutrients.
do i start with Probiotic salt or i start with reef salt? Reef Salt, nothing will take advantage of the premium salt, use it to convert when you begin stocking the tank. You can also alternate or mix until you phase off the reef salt and deplete your supply.
do i go for auto doing for cal mag and alk or i go for calcium reactor? I find the balling method to be superior to CARX, they tend to be finicky, I like to set and figure out my demand, with occasional bumps as corals grow. COMP 123 will satisfy all chemistry needs in the aquarium, as it contains Alk, Ca, and Mg, but also all trace and heavy metals found in natural seawater. You do not need to dose any other trace on this system. You can buy as a set pre-mixed with 3x5 liter bottles, or you can buy the raw materials and make yourself.

Cheers :)
