new tank

I started a new tank. I had bought a premade tank when i lived with my parents came with everythig needed 250 g. It prettt much took care of its self and i never had to change anything or mess with anything. Ive since moved out into an apartment after several years of no tank i decided to get another one to say the very least i was disappointed i got a 36 bow front. With back hang mechanical filter. 1 powerhead and hooked it all up. Its been 6 months my rock color is a very vibrant bright purple, i recently added an aquatech led. And since adding the light and a zoa frag i sprouted a green hair algae problem. Any suggestions also i dony have a moon light whats the purpose ?? And if i just add blue leds would this basically do the same funtion ? My parameters are all normal. Salinity is 1.023. Help ?

What are your parameters? And also adding a new spectrum of light can case algae blooms and if that is the case it should not last to long.

I did add new lights. Ill have to wait to get home before posting my peram. Working on an ambo for 24 hrs. Thanks for thr reply tho.
