New tank

Got the tank today, heres some pics..

I don't know what I should do for powerheads b/c I only have 2 Hydor nano's.. For 33g that would normally be fine but im thinking they will be pretty week on a 4' tank.. I was thinking about putting them on the back of the tank and pointhing em toward the front glass? Hopefully in the next week or so ill have some sand in there! Im going to be insearch of more LR also.. It's a start anyways..

A buddy uses two K1's in his 33g (4') and gets pretty good flow. He's got SPS doing pretty well.

What size tank is that? Looks to have some really nice dimensions.

I actually have 2 of the nano's on the back of mine opposite sides. The 2 #2's are pointed towards the front of the glass. Get a nice flow.

Thanks for the info.. I just have zoas and a few monti caps.. Im probably gonna have it set up this weekend, ill have to look for some K2's

Im thinking im gonna use black sand this time, any thoughts?

Black sand is nice, but it does make the tank seem dark. Just my opinion. Going to have to get something to offset the darkness.

If you don't keep it clean it will look more dirty than white sand.

Hmm maybe ill just stick with white then lol.. I just got an email from elite reefs, saying my zoas should be here tomorrow.. Forgot I ordered from em lol!
