New tank

I am in the process of setting up a 55 gallon tank with about a 20 gal sump. I am looking for a 100 gal protein skimmer and any helpful advice thanks!

From what I've seen everybody else do is buy the largest ,most expensive skimmer you can afford.

Love that! But expensive isn't always better. True a good design will cost more!

Most skimmers do well when setup right. it's the simplicity of maintaining and dialing in that sets a skimmer off against the rest.

Functionality, ease of cleaning, pump design, control of the water height, effluent rate and incoming air rate are keys to a good skimmer

I agree with sebo, they look like palys, second one is very hard to say

Did you get a skimmer yet? Reef octopus is the cheapest one I have tried and the easiest one I've ever used.
