New tank

Hello. I had a 125 gallon saltwater aquarium in the late 90's early 00's. February i had purchased a 110 gallon aquarium. March i bought live sand and a few dry rocks and a adv-200 refugium. Things have really changed in 15 years. I just finished my ammonia cycle. And purchased 2 clown fish and a scooter blenny. So far everything good just checked ammonia , nitrite and nitrate all at 0. Looking to have a reef tank not really too many fish. Wife wasnt keen on the fish tank till i took her to a coral store and she was fascinated with all the colors.

Yes . These are the first ones . Making sure all goes well before i get any more. Maybe this weekend a clean up crew.

Ok so no cuc yet but did get a small gsp. Hasnt opened all the way up yet .

Cool setup. My wife hated the tank when I first started, but now we drive to every shop we can to have a look.

An update. I started over. I just couldn't get the aquascape that I liked. So I emptied the tank and started over. I have changed the sand and rocks. I liked the black sand but little pieces of white rock that either broke off or fell off really stood out. And I tried to glue the rock the way I wanted it. But it just didn't hold. So I was at my lfs and seen these rocks. And I was like I just got to have them. So I went with Fiji pink sand and 2 large rocks. I kept my sump running during the downtime so I had beneficial bacteria when I restarted. And now I am restarting my cycle . I had put everything I had in my qt until this one is ready.

An update i have purchased 1 radion x30 pro. Some corals and a couple more fish.

I got 2 new fish today a royal gramma, and a purple firefish that reminds me of beaker from the muppets.

Have not updated in a while. Have an outbreak of red slime algae. Just started chemiclean. But have added more fish and corals. Just got the tunze osmolator 3155 topoff. A picture before the red slime started.
