New tank

Hi R2R
First time posting,
Im 15 days into my cycle
Ammonia 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrates 2
Live rock, sand, skimmer, sump etc

I have alot of algae concidering its only 2 weeks into the cycle is this normal or just part of the uglies i keep reading about seems early thats all, sorry if its a dum question [emoji17]..
Shoukd i also clean the glass or just leave it be??

Are you feeding the tank to cycle it, or is that just growth that spontaneously popped up from the sand & live rock?

Done the whole shrimp thing lol ammonia hit 1ppm then slowly dropped to 0 nitrites spiked too cant remember what it hit atm... cheers for all the quick answers..
