So, I currently have a 190 deep sea aquatics tank. There is a chip taken it off the one corner. The tank has been set up at my house for 2.5 years, and my mother in law's for 1.5 before that. I don't know when it was chipped, but it had been chipped ever since I've had it.

I've always "threatened" my wife that I was going to get a new tank. The threat was always an empty one, more of me laughing when she would think I'm serious.

Well, so came to me yesterday and said she would allow a new tank "because the chip in the current one bothers her"

My dilemma is this. The tank is set up as a peninsula between our kitchen and living room (short wall behind it). I really want a true peninsula tank, but I only have 6.5ft to work with.

I'm leaning towards a 125 or 180, but I'm not sure I want to personally drill a tank.

Are there any reasonable priced peninsula tanks out there???

Pics of the current tank below, along with the chip in the corner

Red Sea has a couple beautiful peninsula tanks.

I’m sure you’re wife would love the look, especially if a chip is an issue!

Yea, I don't have a red Sea budget.

I'm thinking of going with a standard 185 or 125 and drilling it. If I can get a 90 or 120 cheap that'll be the sump, or a couple of big Rubbermaid totes.

I wish aqueon or perfecto made a 125/185 with a single corner overflow.

I'm just starting my search, so it's gonna be a while. I'm not in a hurry so I can wait for the best deal I can find.
