I’m moving from a 60 litre tropical tankTo something bigger which could be a 279 litre aio, I’m an apprentice at 17 and was wondering if this would be too much ?

Cannot answer if it is too much for you, can only ask you if you know what you are getting into with this hobby? This hobby is incredibly expensive, very time consuming, and requires a lot of research and due diligence to succeed. There is a large failure rate in the saltwater hobby.

If you have never kept aquariums before, it might be easier/cheaper to start with freshwater hobby. The entry level cost is very little, compared to very high saltwater entry level cost.

If you have done the research and are prepared, then you will find a lot of help on this website.

Either way, good on you for being interested at your age, good luck.
