We're getting three new tanks. 2 180s and a 120. I'll try to keep this thread posted as we progress (or fail to progress).

To start off with, this is where they will go.

This is what it looks like today

We installed 2 30 amp circuits with GFCIs.

We should get the stands/cabinets installed on Monday. Stay tuned.

Wow Harry, you've gone reefin' crazy man. Where are you getting the energy for all this? Mary Ruth must be slipping some Geritol in your hot toddy!

Exciting! So, are they still supposed to install the cabinetry tomorrow? What's the schedule on getting the tanks?

The news as of today is that the cabinets will be delayed until Tuesday. After the stands are set up the tanks will be delivered several days later. Then the canopies several days after that.

can't wait to see them up and running Harry! But you are going to be very tired?...... I know Jack and I are...LOL maybe Mary Ruth can send us some of the energy drink she is making for you to us????LOL

The "stuff" in the first picture is now scattered all around the house. We may have to hire a moving company before this is over. Sorry, there is no energy drink - the mess and having to find a pathway from one place to the next is our motivation. It will be great to get the new tanks in operation and the crippled 225 gal tank out of the house.

LOL! It amazing how you can move stuff from one room to another. Some times when I get ambitious and think I am going to organize my closets I end up just moving the mess to another room or closet.
I can't wait to see your new setup. You can finally redo those floors.

The cabinets came today. The tanks are due Monday. Then the canopies a week or so later. When I get the tanks set I can start on the plumbing.

These are "pocket screws". There must be 700 of them! This is pure craftsmanship.

Wowie Harry, that's looking awesome. And, although I don't know much about woodworking, I'd say you're comment about the craftsmanship is right on.

Looks Good H@rry. Looking at the stand in place Makes it much eaiser to picture the tanks. Pocket screws work pretty good. Thats how I built my 92 Gallon stand and canopy. They are much faster then using biscuit joints. You can also get by without glue in most cases if you want. Only one thing. If I were you id paint the inside and probably lay some pond liner or some FRP on the floor of the stand. Thats a lot of stand :). I'd do what I could to keep it from getting water damage
