Hello Today I purchased a Red Sea No2/ No3 kit. Expiration date 2019. the powder regents were clumping due to ,what I assume is moisture intrusion. Is the kit shot out ? I can return it but would rather not. Thanks for any Op's

I would suggest contacting Red Sea.

I don't know about the powder reagents, but I just got a new calcium and magnesium refill.
After 1 use, the titrating reagent (both kits)has a precipitate in it. I contacted red sea. They say it's probably fine, run a test and maybe compare it to another kit... gonna do that Tuesday but wasn't the happiest with the answer.
They replied within 24 hours at least, submitted a ticket on their website.

I did have some left in the old kit I got the same results. I'm going to my lfs tomorrow I'll talk to the owner & see if he will replace it. Thanks for the OP's

I've had it once before in a no3 test kit and had no issues with it. What caused it?, I have no idea. I just shook it a bit harder and it eventually broke up. If it concerns you contact Red Sea. They are good about replacing reagents with picture proof.

I spoke with Jason the LFS owner. He said RedSea is really good at replacing stuff. I'm not really worried about it. I can bust it up enough to use no problem. My concern was if I would get faulty test results. Hey Every Body, Thanks for the op's.
