Hello all, so I started with fish during my elementary school days selling guppies to my neighborhood friends. Then picked fish keeping back up and maintained fresh water Cichlid tanks in my twenties and thirties. Life got in the way and I had to once again put aside the hobby until now. Now that life is stable and we are in our forever home, I am back. But this time I am assuming the challenges of the salt. I suppose the TV show The Aquarium rekindled that passion.....love that show.
As I write this to you, I am in the process of ordering my new Red Sea 250 aquarium and all the trimmings putting most of my money towards water quality and lighting. While I am starting out slow, the price tag and challenge going from fresh water to salt is significant but I am so looking forward to getting started. Back in the elementary days, there was no internet or You Tube but getting started now with the resources available like this forum will be extremely helpful. Thank you
