Hey everyone yesterday I acquired my first acrylic tank. It is a 75 gallon AIO. It was a hundred bucks so I picked it up. It was minor scratches and hazing but I picked up some Novus 1-3 that I am going to use on it. My main concern is a small "spider crack on the top brace. All the seals look ok, a little crazing on the back side. Should I be worried about the spider cracking up top?

I do not know much about acrylic, however logic makes me think those cracks don't come with it new. 75 gallons of water is a lot of spill. If i went with acrylic which i never would, i wouldn't use that tank with the cracks. Think about it, if your going to have this set up for years to come it's only going to get worse.

I'll upload it in a couple hours, I know logic says walk away from it but I have a feeling it may be ok, I would assume since its on the brace it would be from stress but all other seems are ok, no white residue or anything

The "glue" for acrylic is actually a solvent that fuses pieces of acrylic together. If the cracks are not very big, you could just get some solvent in them. Alternately, you could get a piece of acrylic, slather it with solvent and slap it like a bandaid over the cracks. It should patch it. I assume the section you are talking about is the support area at the top to keep the tank from bowing out.

That is all the cracks I'm talking about, can't feel with hand, maybe I can drill a 1/16th hole halfway in and inject the solvent?

Those look like the stress cracks in the gel coat of my boat. If they are only in the top I wouldn't worry about them its from weight being put up on top of the acrylic.
