New to anemone

Hi All, quick question, One of my friends getting rid of their aquarium recently gave me a ling tentacle anemone. I am looking for information on the how, what, when and how much to feed. I put the little dude in a certain spot and it has already move to maybe its forever home, we will see. I was reading that scallops of shrimp cut in small pieces? but how do I give it to the guy.... just place it in the middle? please advise.

I like to broadcast feed small pieces of shrimp, usually the tentacles will catch the food. Or directly feed it and watch it ball up and eat. I cut up a pipette to fit bigger pieces of food and feed.

I would feed mine a piece or two a week of mysis, with tongs. They will pick up pieces floating by too.
