New to Apex wifi trouble. HELP

HEY, I just got this apex today and having trouble finding its wifi signel? at first it did come up on my andriod phone but then i tryed to loge in and i dont see apex coming up in my drop down wifi window. I did not know this would such a hassle i never would have bout it. The thing in on, but cant find any signal to conect to?? I'm Lost

I found this on apex site
When the Apex is powered up for the very first time it will have a Blue status light indicating that the Apex is in Wi-Fi Setup mode.

If you have a classic Apex or another Apex unit Please Read...
During the initial setup process of your new Apex, we need to temporarily disconnect any classic Apex on your network (just network and not power) if that Apex has a default hostname called “apex.” Simply disconnect the Ethernet cable from your Apex until we instruct you to reconnect it.

I found it connect easier if done from a pc that was my personal experience now it's good

ok I;m back, lol.. thank for the tips. i did get it connected. with my mac. had to reset it, hold for 20 sec. had to do that a few time and ''BAM' GOT IT... now to figurer out what i can do with this thing, thanks guys

I was not able to get my Apex to reliably stay connected to wifi, ended up hard wiring it. This latest firmware fixed an issue were I was not able to connect to the apex locally. As time goes on the firmware will continue to get better.
