New to corals and anemones

Welcome r2r.png

Hi Kat here. I have been in and out the hobby since 2016 give or take. Back then I did fish only. In the past year i decided to venture in to the coral world. I ended up finding myself looking at anemones. I now have a 110 gal fish only and a 29bio bubble til and rock flower with a zoa and a xenia. Xenia was on a rock that my buble tip came on.
I done some research on bubbles but I cant seem to find anything much on rock flowers with tips or hints. The most info I have received for real life that that shows pics and info on why or what they anemones are doing and what I need to do is here. So I have monitored the site now for a couple months and I think I will stick around. Thanks for allowing my to be here.
The pic below is right after this guy split. Meet big boy.

Welcome! Glad you joined. Rock anemones seem to enjoy similar light and care to bubble tips. I've not observed any of my rock anemones stinging xenia, but my bubble tip anemone has killed many corals including xenia. Recommend keeping them apart, but when they clash/fight, do water changes to reduce chemicals put into water (i've had a leather mushroom impact others at far end of my 180g (even ran carbon after that fight to help calm everything back down and attempting to reduce losses)).

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:
