I have a Ricordea mushroom coral and zoas, can they be placed next to each other? If yes why if not why? Taking in all the knowledge . Thanks in advanced!!

Keep them at least a few inches apart. Mushrooms will sometimes move a little to find their spot. But either way, you want to leave room for each to grow out and build their own little colonies.
Thank you! Even if I have the mushroom on a frag?

Yes. Depending on the flow and lighting of your tank, the Mushroom could still up and move. And that's how some mushrooms propagate. They move and leave behind little babies. Do you have photos you can post?
I’ve let the mushroom grown into a rock then put it on a frag. Didn’t know they can have babies I can post pic in a few minutes

As a rule of thumb generally no corals should touch they should be given enough room to grow out independently of neighbors, that being said there are plenty of tanks where mushrooms and zoas grow wildly all over each other with no noticeable ill effect. Just keep in mind the majority of corals have some form of defense be it stinging tentacles or chemical warfare, they can and will attack each other if given good cause, like an encroaching mushroom for example. Its actually really interesting see but you likely won't be too excited to see your precious coral fight each other to the death.
Hey Blue how did your pickups from the TSA flash sale fare in your tank, Looking good I hope?

Welcome to R2R! Like others have said leave some room for your corals to grow. Try not to let them touch. Some corals are more aggressive than others. Most of the beginner corals like xenia and duncans aren't super aggressive but some like torch corals certainly can be.

My TSA and SBB Live Sale Corals arrive in 10 days, on the 31st. Was still waiting for tank to cycle so I got the latest delivery date that I could. How are your corals doing? I've got videos I'm working on with tank build and coral haul and will also be doing a build thread if you want to follow along! :)

Nice, will do. Everything came in happy and healthy, packaged well as always. One of my new Rhodactis already split down the mouth, and my LPS are eating like crazy. TSA never disappoints at least IME. Best of luck with the build.

Yeah I've ordered from TSA previously and have visited the store as well. Anxiously waiting to get my box! :D That's nice that you're shroom split already! I've got a really nice Yuma in expecting from them!
