I’ve never dosed anything in my tank and depend mostly on weekly water changes dkh always tests at 7 and been looking for ways to up it
Monday morning I dosed 1ml of Kent dkh buffer
Came home 9 hours later tested dkh at a 9 I’m happy with 9 and would like to keep it around there however life got in the way this week and I was not able to test dkh tues wends like I originally planned tonight I tested and once again it’s 7 so based on this should I start dosing 0.33 of the dkh every morning to maintain it??

parameters:
Temp:78.9
Salinity:1.026
Cal:480 (always this high can’t ever get lower)
Mag:1520
Ph:8
Phos:0.04
Ammonia:0
Nitrite:0
Nitrate:50 (ongoing battle to lower don’t know what’s going on)

To find out how much you want to dose you will want to calculate your daily consumption. Test at the same time 2 days in a row. Then the can calculate your daily dose. I would try and avoid those 2 dkh swings

Yes I have mostly soft corals other then one monti cap and cyphastrea which is doin very poor everything eles is happy my entire back wall is encrusted in coraline and was told it will play a big factor in my alk
