New to duncans

Hey ya'll! I'm posting because I'm not sure what's going on with my new duncans. I've only had one head if duncans prior to this, which ended up dieing on me unfortunately; although, it had a very long shipping time due to usps being inept so arrived pretty rough looking... Finally have the courage to try again and I want to make sure I have everything setup for success.

I wanted to post and ask how they looked for a first night, and I know it'll be a Lil wonky for a bit due to acclimating and whatnot but I've never seen their mouths pucker like they are currently.

It really hard to tell how an lps coral is doing just 1 day after being shipped. Give it a few days. Duncans aren't any harder to keep than most other lps corals.

The polyps are not moving at all, seems to be no flow in the tank. They like medium flow, they should be waving back and forth.

it also looks dark, is the video taken at night?

Agreed, video makes it tough to tell. The last 24 hours have been tough on the coral. Give it a couple days and reassess.

Yeah, that video was taken at night during the sunset/ramp down.

I honestly made the post to assuage the girlfriends worries and because I was curious about the pucker. The Duncan looks much better already, just this morning.

As for flow, that's my bad, I knocked my power head up when I was cleaning. Ended up making a dead zone where there isn't normally, thanks for pointing that out! I might not have noticed it for a bit.

Duncans have a great feeding response, target feed mysis, they will love it.
