New to forum! Had a question about my Duncan!

I've had this Duncan coral for a little over a month now and it has been growing great, twice the size of when I first got it. For the past two days it has been acting funny (tentacles in weird directions and bent looking) last night and today I've noticed these clear looking bubbles on the base of its head. Is this normal? Maybe growing new heads ? Or should I be worried?

Mine looks like that when he's eating. I have a peppermint shrimp that likes to steal from him and the Duncan will shrink and close for awhile but will expand again .
