Hello everyone,

I am new here & hoping that members will be able to help me. Tank details:

55 gallon
Established 10+ years(poorly maintained)
Approx 15lb live rock( some coralline algae)
2 clown fish
0 crabs/ snails
Current Loop system lighting
Sump
Old coralline protein skimmer with Rio 1100 pump( this is where I need help) identifying & need replacement parts

* hired a reef tank maint company today* time to get back into it

Do you need the whole thing. You can get the impeller needle shaft at amazon. If it is the motor I would just pick up a new one unit, or use this time to upgrade the skimmer

Welcome, can you clarify what help you need. Need a bit more info.

Glad you’re here

Edit. Just learned to read, sorry need the pump
Thanks for the reply. I posted details in discussion with photos. Hope that was the right place

I should have waited to see where to post, thank you for the info. I put it in general discussion as I am new to any kind of forum/posting.

It’s all good. I think you posted in the right place. It’s always good to introduce yourself and your tank. Good luck!

Welcome to R2R!!! Although I haven’t used a Rio on a skimmer I have used a Rio 1100 and 1400 and found them to be reliable inexpensive pumps.
