I have a RSM650 that's ended up a FOWLR due to bad advice. I have over 10K into the system and unable to get my water parameters correct to add corals. Not much help from LFS due to greed and it's now too big to fail.

Welcome to R2R! Allot of folks on here that can give you advise on how to get setup for corals if you want to.

Welcome to R2R!

Take a step back and list what you have, have done, have NOT done, and your equipment. Also a list of current fish would be helpful.

Start a build thread or a my tank thread. People on here are happy to help!

It can be fixed! It may be fowlr, but it doesn't look bad right now.

Welcome. You've come to the right place.
I second what Ryan says. Let's take this one step at a time and you be good to go. It may not happen as quick as you would like but I guarantee you'll get the fire back and get excited.

Welcome. :-)

What specifically are the chemistry issues? Are you dosing anything?

Fish List:
Blue Unicorn Tang
Clownfish
Coris Wrasse
Melanurus Wrasse
Lawnmower Blenny
Coral Beauty
Shadowfin Cat
Springer Damsel
One Spot Foxface
5 Cardinals
8 Hermits and 1 Peppermint Shrimp
Multiple tests of water from different stores, yielded different test results. My home tests are API and it only shows my Ammonia at .50.
Had system set up for 18 months and LFS recommended that tap water was ok. Tank was covered in hair algae so I changed the water over 5 months to RO/DI, still had bad Phosphates, so I added a Reactor, did a massive water change and replaced substrate due to the talcum powder of prior substrate. Over $10k into this and still, no results.

Chems used:
Balance
Eight.Four
Ions
Seed
And trying to slowly raise my salinity which is now 1.021

If you have not bought your own test kits for Alk/Ca/Mag then that would be my next investment if you desire to keep stony corals.

I would also get test kits other then API and do your own test for Phos and Nitrates. I find it hard to believe you actually have an ammonia value of .50 in a tank of that age.

Testing is a pain but the rewards are great in the long run. With such a large investment I would want to track and see my own testing values.

You could go the sensor route and get some Hanna Checkers.

For now I would dose nothing and stick to routine water changes unless you are testing prior to any dosing.

Hope that helps.

The scape is beautiful BTW.
