Just got my first SW tank set up in October (standard 55 gallon), and it's been doing great. Unfortunately when I bought the tank, I was planning on doing FW, so I have a tempered tank, and a stand that is not sump friendly. When we went to a LFS to look at fish, my wife suggested we do SW instead.

At my wife's request, I am upgrading to a 135g w/sump and all due to the noise/light from this tank (the HOB skimmer is loud, even though Reef Octopus support claims the pump doesn't make any noise). Have a custom stand being built, and ordered the tank. Not gonna lie, I'm pretty excited :D

I will start a tank thread once I start getting some stuff going.

Welcome to R2R. Sounds like a great new build. Post up your build thread once you start it so we can follow along.
