How's it going everyone. Not new to reefing but new to posting. Have had a tank running for a few years now. Not at all show quality piece. Started an Instagram as well if you all would like to follow. @ outoforderaquatics

Welcome! Glad you joined. This hobby takes time, so be gentle on yourself - you'll get there.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

Currently have a bad algae outbreak.

Controlling white light, phosphates and nitrates, as well as regular get in there and pull it out.

We do weekly scrub, scrub, scrub and siphon as well as in dual chamber reactor run BioDigest on biopellets and run Brightwell PO4 cubes, as well as Red Sea NoPoX as needed because starving fish for 'low nutrient' system is not a viable solution in our case - and did install window blinds to control sunlight.

I need to make my way back.to getting there. Just been super lazy, haven't done a water change in 7 months or so and been feeding heavily lately.
