New to hobby red sea reefer alternative

I am brand new to the hobby and have been researching stuff forever. I really want to do the red sea reefer 350 but its a bit out of my budget. Are there any comparable alterantives out there? And if not where can i buy a predrilled tank in the 90 to 75 gallon range. Im looking for something to run the triton method with. I plan on a mixed reef with starting on softys and a few lps\sps beginners as well as a zooanthid garden. Any advice wouls be appreciated. Thank you.

For a low iron tank, you might look at innovative marine. I can get them locally pretty affordable. Tanks with normal green glass are far cheaper. You can often pick them up off of craigslist. Sometimes you can get the LFS to cut you a break on a tank. Of course, the venders don’t want deep discounts on their merchandise so the LFS has limited wiggle room.

Now, glass cages makes tanks. A 90 gallon low iron reef tank with a stand and shipping costs about $1200. Glass cages had a rather spotty reputation. Some people love them for affordability. Other hate them for a rather marginal fit and finish.

I've been considering the Innovative Marine tanks but I'm not sure if you can use a sump with those or not I really want to take this tank in the direction of the Triton method because it's had really good reviews and it seems like it simplifies everything. Ive already priced out the Tritton trigger sumps and they seem to be really nice any advice on a tank to pair it with I was looking at the low-cost Crystal series

If I was you I would check out what a LFS to you might have for tanks and sumps in stock. A lot of times they will end up sitting on a tank and will cut you a deal. Especially if you buy more than just the tank.

If I go into a total new setup then my local reef shop will cut prices on live rock and other things to help make the deal happen.

Nothing wrong with a little haggling

and you get your local reef shops support if somethings not right with the new setup.

If you are willing to take the drive then head to the The Hidden Reef in PA. Its a little over an hour drive from you. Its a big store and carry a lot of tanks in stock.
