I just seeded my tank with copupodes. Will my protein skimmer kill them. I did shut everything down for awhile. Then started everything back up. I know this question hasprobably has been ask before. I'm just really new here

Typically I don't see a skimmer having a significant impact on your pod population. They will seek shelter in the rock work. How do you have your tank set up? Do you have a refugium? Where did you seed your copepods? Where is the skimmer?

I did put them in the refugium with everything off for about 20mins

How do you have your Fuge set up? Is the skimmer before or after the pods?

I should tell you the skimmer is 1st the the fuge and a pump

Remove your filter sock for the night... that will help some to let them get around the system without needing caught and discarded.

If the skimmer is before the Fuge, don't worry about it. The pods will settle in.
