Hello, new to all of this. Figured before I move forward with any purchase of any kind. I would first get advise from people who know! As of now, no tank, experience, etc. would love to create something that not only myself would love, but the family as well. Any advise would be appreciated, where to research, what to research and all of that

Thank you for having me

Welcome home, you will love it here!

Best advise I have to offer is this: nothing good happens quickly in this hobby.

The rest of your knowledge can be found within this forum! :D

Welcome and how did you find Reef2Reef?

Thank you, basic google search brought me this way. Found the site, read up on it a bit and decided this was more than likely the right place for me to go. Seems to be advantagous to all skill levels and expertise.

Welcome! New to the hobby as well. This is the first forum I have ever become a member of. Great group of people and advice. Someone always has an answer! And sometimes it's a very quick reply. Only advice I can give is go slow and quarantine everything!

Any recommendation on a size for quarentine tank? 20-30 sufficiant?

I have a 10 gallon that works fine. Hang on the back filter and a small power head. Can do 3 fish at a time depending on size. No specific light just a simple lamp. All fish do great.
