What should I get for testing? Is there a starter kit or, by test what brand should I buy? Opinions?

I recommend salifert. Ca, Alk, Mag are the big three. I also like to test nitrate.

I recently purchased a Mastertronic and im having a calibration issue got it on sale from Brs.
Keeps overfilling the test vial and reaction chamber i need help.
