Hi everyone, just picked up this lovely little creature here over the weekend. It was happy and healthy at my LFS. Was told that it was a customer's split. There were several in their tank.

Bring it home. It bubbles up and moves around a bit (less than an inch) then the next day goes all deflated.

It seems to like the blue lights better at night, so I put it on the bottom of my tank this evening to see if maybe it was an acclimation thing. I'm sitting here watching it and I can't tell if it's pulling itself apart or just being grumpy.

Water conditions are good. Have been stable for a few months. Nothing out of the ordinary and I'm growing lps and mushrooms pretty well.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I had a similar problem with my nem, its best to leave it be it will wander around the tank till it finds a place it likes the more you move it the more you risk damaging the foot, and them deflating and inflating is all natural, mine does it all the time and it's got nothing wrong with it

It's been attached to that rock since I placed it. It hasn't moved really at all, which was concerning as I knew they would roam. I can't fathom I put it in the perfect spot first try.

usually they will sit for a week or so then move, till they are comfortable, if its not moving its comfortable
