So just upgraded from my old light to a Prime HD+ and looking for some suggestions.
I'll have to play around with profiles. But what I think I need help with is placement. I'm sort of limited with height as this is a 9gal on my counter and a cabinet next to it. Cabinet door clears the light.

But here are the deets...
Light to substrate 14"
Light to water top 3.5"
Light to frag holder 6"
Light to main zoa's 7"

I sort of feel the light it too close or my intensity is too much. I currently cannot connect to this darn thing. But I believe I have the intensity down to 20 or less.
Up until I installed this light, my zoas had been doing well. The below picture was just tonight, Zoas aren't very circular.. This is a pretty new development.

So let me know what you think. I do have the snake arm bracket. So I could move it around.
Ultimately this light will go to my 24gal when I get it up and running.

Thanks,
MacK

So just curious if i have this question I’m the right area or not due to no replies.... or do i smell or something??

so since i did not hear anything and things were Not improving, i decided to switch to my old light.. probably ticking the coral off with the changes too..

i see there is an acclimation setting... is this an option to be using when switching from another light or more when making changes?

im going to do a full water test tomorrow to make sure it’s not something else annoying the coral..
