Hi! Welcome! I know what you mean about expense. I kept a reef tank before I was married. Last year my husband says "I think you should get back into saltwater. You always talk about it." I told him it can be expensive. He said that he knew that. I then said "really expensive". He said he knew that too. What he didn't realize was how expensive. 
There are a lot of dyi-ers here. They can help reduce the costs if you are a handy sort of person. I hope you have fun here. I know I do.

Welcome to reef2reef. I justify my expenses by telling my wife things like "If I was a smoker this would only be (insert number of days) worth of cigarettes so its a pretty good deal." or "It is on sale so I might as well buy it now." It seems to work she hasn't kicked me out yet
