Hi,
I've been in the aquarium hobby for over 40 years, starting with fresh water fish. Converted to salt water fish 20 years ago. I started a reef tank 10 years ago. The tank was a 120 gal lighted with two MH 250 watt XM1000 bulbs. I grew mainly SPS corals, mainly acropora and a few montipora corals. As you can see from my choice of bulbs I don't like the blue look of 20000K lighting. The tank was successful for around 5 years before it crashed. Probably due to lack of maintenance as my interests turned to birding and bird photography. I kept the tank as a fish only tank with a few fishes. I am thinking of restarting a reef tank, but haven't made up my mind yet.
