No sweat. The plumbing was soft tubing and I upgraded with pvc pipe. The sump they sent out was nice but I noticed there was more room in the stand for a bigger sump. So I upgraded there to fit more equipment like a bigger skimmer and marine pure blocks and fresh water auto top off. My upgrades occurred 1-2 years after setting up my tank. Don’t worry about getting everything you need all set up at once. Truth is you don’t need much to get started but it is a whole lot of fun to start upgrading, once you start to get a hang of things. Thanks for the feedback. What was wrong with the plumbing and sump? As someone with little to no sump experience, would they work just fine to get started with?
Thanks again, I have been seeing a lot of mixed reviews on the CADLights systems and mostly positive reviews on the Red Sea Reefers. I really like that the CADLights systems include some of the equipment like a skimmer and return pump for around the same price as the Reefers. Just having a hard time committing to CADLights based on some of the reviews I have seen out there. No sweat. The plumbing was soft tubing and I upgraded with pvc pipe. Your tank looks great! I also considered the E-260 but I may want the bigger size of the Reefer 350, and I wasn’t sold on the look of the plastic barricade on top of the filtration chamber. My wife really wants a design in which no equipment or wiring is visible to the rest of the room. I also like the upgraded sump and ATO of the Reefer 350.
