Hi everyone, im Jon from Orlando. I'll admit i signed up for World Wide Corals Cyber monday sale on the 26th, but this forum seems to be worth checking out along with other common reef forums. I currently have a 34g Solana with a AI SOL BLUE. Candycane, frogspawn, 2 FL Ricordea, seabae & blue Condylactis. 6 line wrasse, cleaner shrimp, starfish, conch, snails and hermits. near future im looking at the 80g deep blue rimless. i really dig the shallow rimless tanks, want to go big but i am on a 3rd floor apartment.

Hey it doesn't matter why you signed up as long as you did! :D

Tank looks great and welcome to R2R!

Welcome to the site! There's alot of cool people and subject here not to mention lots of eye candy!

Hi Jon!! Welcome to R2R!! Love your tank!!

Welcome! haha funny how you say you want to go big. As I basically decided I would prefer smaller than my 55 gal now. I like small setups but thats also probably because i prefer smaller fish and there really is no "I need to upgrade so i can go Tang crazy".

Anyway. Welcome, this forum is the best. I wont name names but I stopped visiting other forums because this one is just so much better. and the people are awesome here.

I love shallow, especially rimless tanks as well. So clean looking. Good luck and nice tank :)

Nice looking tank! Welcome to R2R!!! 1smile1

wow what a great response. thanks everybody. yes i've been hit with the 'go bigger' bug. TBO after having a biocube and now the solana, i just dont want an all in one nano anymore, though they're great for a beginner. I'm ready to take a a larger tank, but more importantly, have access to a sump which IMO seems far easier to maintain rather than reaching over a tank to get to its all-in-one filtration. I too am big on small fish, i'd prefer numerous little fish rather than a few big guys. when you sit back and relax, its great watching the little guys pop out of holes in the rock u had no clue were there. Hell, i love watching hermit crab street fights. :P At any rate, i'll be on here continuing to gain knowledge and advice, my 80g shallow wont come til mid summer after i get out of this apartment.
