Finally joined R2R. I've had reef systems for close to 15 years now, and have been around other forums. Seems my time is always running thin, so I never joined this forum, but wish I had years ago! While keeping a nice reef tank with beautiful corals is one of my hobbies, my real interest lies in breeding. I have been an active breeder of clownfish, Banggai's, and peppermint shrimp. Currently I am working with a couple of dragonet species & Coral Beauty angels (slow progress on both!). I find it much more satisfying to raise fish & inverts, than just buying another pretty item for the tank. Thus my fish room is a mess - a conglomeration of bubbling bottles of various colors, the associated spiderweb of airline tubes, kriesels & small grow-out tanks, etc. I maintain 4 different pod cultures, and 2 phyto's.
I do have a nice in wall 125 gallon reef which I show to friends & guests. Fellow reefers & breeders get to see the back room (it would probably scare others, and maybe bring a visit from the FBI or FDA!).
I've already rambled to long.... Glad to join here, and hopefully can contribute!
