Hello, just wanted to say hey! A friend of mine told me about this site and I think it's cool. Looks like a well taken care of site full of info and alot of nice tanks and livestock.
I've got a 60g cube with a 30g cube sump. My lighting is MH and VHO. The MH is a XM 400w SI in a Luminmax 2 pendant driven by a bluewave m135 ballast. The VHO's are URI 50/50 and superactinic drive by an Icecap 660......alot of ballast for two 18" bulbs:angel:.
The skimmer is a mesh modded Octo Extreme 160. I have an ATO that goes through a Kalk reactor.
For flow there are two Koralia 3's and the returne pump is a Mag 7. I plan on getting a Vortech MP40 next month and ditching the K3's. No chiller just 3 4" fans. One runs over the sump 24-7 and the other two come on when the lights come on, one with the VHO's and the other with the MH.
I'll get some pics when i work out my cloudy tank issue, i think i'm pumping in Kalk slury; however, ph and alk are fine.
I look farward to chatting with you guys/gals and trading some LE corals.
