New to R2R!

Hello everyone! I am new to R2R and new to starting a reef tank! I have only had tropical freshwater aquariums in the past and I am now looking to set up my very first saltwater aquarium. I am looking forward to this new adventure and looking forward to sharing it with all of you. If you had any tips for a beginner, what would they be?

Yes, I'm serious. Binge watch them instead of G.L.O.W. lol. BRS puts out great content that'll get you rolling. They're also a great place to get all your supplies.

I have watched some of theirs as well as watching Tidal Gardens videos. Thanks for the tip!

No problemo. I got most of my knowledge from YouTube when I started. Watching others do it made it so much simpler, in my mind, than reading about it. But you're at an excellent place to document your reef progress and get a fine, in-depth knowledge of the hobby.

Welcome to R2R. If you haven't read through the thread below, I would recommend doing so. A lot of great basic information to get your started. My personal advise is to continue your research, then do some more, and not be in a hurry. This is a marathon, not a sprint.
