Greets,
I've been following a few threads in here and I guess it's time to have the account to contribute to them.
Fairly new to the saltwater side of the hobby, starting with a 29G Biocube I transplanted into my home a couple of years ago. Shortly after I drilled out the back glass of my 72G bow, installed an external overflow, picked up a cheap breeder for a sump an started a slightly larger project, which went fairly well other than a dino-disaster about a year ago that pretty much wiped out any corals I had. Since then I havn't really kept anything other than fish my 72, and recently decided to attempt to do this correctly and begin a new build, with dosing pumps, media reactors, hard plumbing and a dedicated RO system.
Currently I have a used Reefer XL 525 with all of the live and hard goods moved over from the 72. Waiting on some PVC equipment to arrive before I'm able to hard-line everything in.
Been following along with what Broadfield has done with his sump, and will be using a fair amount of the design to do my own. Might start a build thread to gain some input on what I can do better.
